JUNIOR DEVELOPER - Nicosia

Our market leading company, the authorized distributor of CaseWare software in Cyprus and Greece seeks to recruit a high calibre and highly motivated, team-player to join our consultants based in our Nicosia headquarters.

OVERVIEW

Specifically, we are looking for a hard-working professional, who is technology, computer and software applications savvy, to assist in the development of software solutions and has the following credentials:

• University degree in Computer Science or related field
• Knowledge of a modern object oriented programming language such as Java, C/C++, C# etc.
• Knowledge of relational databases (design and query using SQL)
• Knowledge of basic HTML, CSS and JS
• Ability to understand and interpret requirements and developing optimal solutions
• Ability to clearly document requirements and specification
• Attention to detail and passion for high quality code
• Excellent command of Greek and English languages

Additional credentials that would be considered an advantage:

• Knowledge of any additional JavaScript library such as jQuery
• Contribution in an open source community (e.g. stackoverflow.com) or open-source projects.
• Knowledge of a Content Management System (CMS) e.g. (Joomla, WordPress, Drupal etc)
• Knowledge and experience in XML and JSON

Responsibilities will include:

• Software development
• Ongoing support of exiting solutions.

REMUNERATION

Attractive and competitive remuneration packages, including pension and medical funds, as well as excellent career prospects will be offered to the successful candidate. Salary in the range €13k to €20k gross per year, according to qualifications and experience.
